Eager to test the boundaries in middle and high school, Surge Soda boasted increased amounts of sugar and caffeine, things most teenagers wanted to experience to escape the world that was around them.  In my town, there was only one place that would sell it as there was an uproar from conservative parents that it would ruin children as we new it.  That place was the butcher shop.  Let that sink in for a second…a butcher shop.  After a night of driving around town, one stop would be to grab a Surge and get back on the strip cruising for friends and, let’s be honest, probably trouble.  Surge recently made a comeback in gas stations across the nation, can’t wait to try it again and see if it tastes as bad as I remember.  Raise your glasses!
